Streetlight project will affect the boulevard section of Jefferson

A project to replace parts of streetlights along the boulevard section of Jefferson Street is set to get underway this week.

Paducah Public Works will be making upgrades, and it will require sections of lights to be turned off in areas where they are working. A city contractor will be making the upgrades to components on the poles.

The city said the project would take about three weeks to complete.
