Three injured in Lyon County golf cart accident

Three people were hurt in a golf cart accident in Lyon County on Saturday.

Lyon County deputies responded around 6 pm on Lake Barkley Drive. 

They said a golf cart operated by 38-year-old Lance Stagner of Murray was traveling uphill when a passenger in the rear of the cart stood up, shifting the weight and causing it to overturn down an embankment.

Stagner and two of the passengers were taken to an area hospital while the third was treated at a different facility.  A fourth person was not hurt.
