Tuesday crash in Mayfield sent one to the hospital

A Tuesday crash in Mayfield sent one person to the hospital with injuries.

The crash happened along Wyatt Drive. Mayfield Police said their investigation determined that a car, driven by 36-year-old Deandre Brown of Murray, was headed west on Wyatt, moved to the left into a center turn lane, but then turned back to the right into the path of an SUV driven by 33-year-old Hector Carrillo. The two vehicles collided, leaving one person, 26-year-old Cheryl Beliles of Mayfield, with some minor injuries.

Beliles was taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment.
