Tyler tosses hat in the race to be McCracken County Clerk

Daronda Tyler has tossed her hat into the race to become McCracken County Clerk.

Tyler has been working in the clerk’s office since 2003 as Elections Supervisor and, most recently, as the Chief Deputy. She said, "I am honored to have served the citizens of McCracken County for more than two decades. I am running for County Clerk to continue building on the integrity, efficiency, and commitment that our community deserves. I love what I do and I love this community.”

Tyler said her experience and thorough knowledge of the operations inside the McCracken County Clerk’s Office have prepared her for the job.

Current McCracken County Clerk Jamie Huskey announced earlier this week that she would not seek re-election.
