US 60/62 bridge at Cairo closed each day this week

The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that the US 60/62 bridge over the Mississippi River at Cairo will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning Monday for scheduled bridge maintenance work.

The maintenance project is expected to be completed by Friday afternoon.

Please seek alternate routes during the daytime work period.
