The attempted serving of an arrest warrant on Sunday turned into a drug arrest for a man in New Concord.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies said they were trying to serve a warrant along Kline Trail in southeastern Calloway County at about 11 p.m. Sunday. While in the area, deputies encountered 63-year-old James R. Solomon. The deputies said they found Solomon had a quantity of methamphetamine on his person.
