Weekend brings wind chills, a dusting of snow for some

Breezy conditions are expected through the weekend with the exception of Thursday, starting with gusts over 25 mph Wednesday.

With the shift to a colder and breezier pattern, wind chills will be a concern for several nights. That includes wind chills in the teens Friday morning, and single digit wind chills possible on Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The cold continues through early next week with nightly lows in the teens and highs in the 30s.

Several reinforcing shortwaves aloft bring chances for a light dusting of snow on a few nights, mainly in the northern counties of the region.
