Western Kentucky was represented in the latest round of funding recipients from the state's County and City Bridge Improvement Program were announced this week.
The latest funding awards $6.5 million for 13 critical bridge projects across 12 Kentucky counties, and to the city of Hardin.
Calloway County will receive $490,000 for replacement on Charlie Miller Road.
Graves County is to get $420,000 for replacement on Shaw Road.
Lyon County will get $530,747 for replacement of a timber structure on Ferguson Road.
The city of Hardin gets $450,000 to replace the bridge at 4th Street.
The state says that nearly $25 million has been awarded to local governments in the first year of the program to address bridges that are closed, have posted traffic limitations, or are in need of repair.
