4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons lime juice
In a zip lock bag, mix together cayenne, paprika, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, parsley, salt and black pepper. Place chicken breasts in the bag with the spices and shake around, coating well. Heat butter and olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute chicken in the medium-hot butter and oil for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Sprinkle with a teaspoon of garlic powder and the lime juice, cooking for 5 more minutes. Gently stir frequently to coat all sides with the sauce. Turn heat off and put lid on skillet. Leave it there for about 15-30 more minutes and chicken will be so tender and flavorful. ENJOY!
