Paving wrapping up on US 641 in Calloway County

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is scheduled to return to U.S. 641/12th Street in Calloway County today to complete final paving work.

The work will start at 4 a.m. and will continue during daytime hours. Up to this point the work was taking place at night.

Paving will focus on the turn lane and crosswalk areas along 12th Street between Tabard Drive and KY 80 in Murray. 

Paving is expected to be completed today, with permanent striping to follow. The entire project is expected to be fully completed in time for Labor Day weekend.
