The H.B. Fuller manufacturing company has announced that it will close its Paducah facility permanently within the next year.
In a statement on Friday, the company said they would cease operations in Paducah no later than the end of the first quarter of 2027.
The company said they came to its decision after reviewing their North American facilities.
Minnesota-based H.B. Fuller is an American multinational manufacturer of adhesives and disposable hygiene products. They make more than 20,000 products at 81 facilities in 26 countries. According to Wikipedia, as of 2024 it was the fourth-largest manufacturer of adhesives and sealants in the world.
Their Paducah facility is located on Charter Drive adjacent to I-24.
