McCracken Bicentennial books are hot off the press

The McCracken County Bicentennial book is now available.

The Paducah Ambassadors said in a news release this weekend those who have reserved their book celebrating the 200th anniversary of the county can pick them up at the McCracken County Public Library Mondays from 10 am-2 pm and Tuesdays from 4-6 pm.  

For those who purchased the book and requested it to be shipped to them, the shipments will go out beginning Monday.

If you have not purchased the book, extra copies will be available for $60 at the McCracken County Public Library during pickup times, or by contacting the Paducah Ambassadors at (270) 444-8632.

The book, which celebrates the 200th anniversary of McCracken County, is 416 pages in length and has over 600 photographs.  It was coordinated by McCracken County FIscal Court, the Paducah Ambassadors and McCracken County Public Library and developed by a team of local historians.
