A complaint about trespassing and property damage in Graves County landed a man in jail.

Graves County Sheriff's deputies were called in early April to the Clear Springs community after a man allegedly entered an area he had already been told he did not belong. Deputies said 47-year-old Steven J. Gordon returned to the property and reportedly did some significant damage.

Deputies caught up to Gordon at about 1 p.m. on Thursday and arrested him. Gordon is charged with criminal trespass and felony criminal mischief, as the damage exceeded $1000.

Gordon was booked into an out-of-county detention facility.
