Two people from Lyon County were charged in a Princeton shoplifting investigation.

Princeton Police said that 47-year-old Dustin Watson and 47-year-old Keila Wynn, both of Eddyville, were arrested in the case following an investigation of thefts from Walmart. The two are accused of taking around $1,900 in merchandise.

Watson and Wynn are said to have gone to the Princeton Walmart several times during April, May, and June. The two allegedly changed barcodes on merchandise, then paid prices much lower than retail for the items. As an example, police said Wynn purchased a vacuum cleaner in July and is said to have only paid $1.88.

Watson and Wynn were arrested on Wednesday by Kentucky State Police troopers and Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies. They were each charged with shoplifting over $1,000 and booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
