A medical examiner has confirmed that a second body was found in a burnt vehicle discovered in western Kentucky last week. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet engineers have set Dec. 1 as the target date for placing the 550-foot main span – a $20 million steel basket-handle arch – on the new U.S. 68/KY 80 Eggners Ferry Bridge. Gas can now be found in the $1.70s in Paducah and Mayfield, and prices are expected to keep falling as we head toward Thanksgiving. Average retail gasoline prices in Kentucky fell 16 cents in the past week, averaging $1.91 a gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 2,623 gas outlets in Kentucky. A man was injured early Sunday morning in a Marshall County hotel fire. Fire Chief Ricky Sirls said several fire agencies responded at around 1:00 am to a report of a fire at Lakeland Resort in Aurora.
