12th Annual Graves County Truck Pull Draws Crowd

“Hard 2 Handle” wasn’t necessarily the case as this driver hauls a load with his pick-up at the Graves County Truck and Tractor Pullers’ 12th annual pull.

The Pullers hosted the 2019 event at the Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds Saturday night. Besides admission profits, money the Graves County Family Resource and Youth Services centers and Mayfield FRC raised help children in need to have a Merry Christmas. Parents of those children can earn shopping points by taking classes such as parenting and family budgeting.

In its first 11 years, the event has raised more than $330,000. The Pullers announce the amount of money raised in the current year later each fall at a school board meeting.
