Detectives say the theft happened around 4:30 am on Sunday, Jan. 13, at First Choice Kubota on US 45 North, approximately six miles north of Mayfield. According to police, an unknown vehicle pulling a white enclosed trailer, approximately 26 feet in length, pulled into the adjacent lot across from the Kubota dealership, loaded two pieces of equipment and then left.
The stolen pieces of equipment were a mini backhoe Kubota model BX23SLSB-R and a Kubota Zero Turn mower model ZD1211L-72. Detectives also have a vehicle of interest, a red pick-up truck.
