Almo Woman Hit by Truck in Murray Parking Lot

An Almo woman was hurt Wednesday afternoon when a vehicle hit her in a Murray parking lot. 

The Murray Police Department says officers responded shortly after noon to a crash in a parking lot on Chestnut Street. Upon arrival, officers spoke with 68-year-old Susan Scott of Almo, who said she was walking behind a truck when it backed into her.

Officers also spoke with 21-year-old Evan Hopkins of Murray, who told them he was backing up his truck and accidentally struck Scott.

Scott was taken by ambulance to the emergency room for treatment of possible injuries.
