A traffic stop in Ballard County Tuesday led to the arrest of two people.

The Ballard County Sheriff's Office says a deputy initiated a traffic stop in La Center. During the traffic stop, the deputy noticed the driver, Rhonda Beasley, had bloodshot eyes and there was an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

After a search of the vehicle, Beasley and a passenger, Ashley Schuder, were both arrested.

Beasley was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and license plate not legible. Schuder was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth and public intoxication.

Both were lodged in the Ballard County Jail.
