Right now, the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program needs volunteers in Western Kentucky to drive cancer patients to and from their treatments.

Training for prospective drivers will be held on February 14 at 2 pm at the Purchase Area Development District Office (PADD), 1002 Medical Center Dr. in Mayfield and on February 28th at 2 pm at the McCracken County Cooperative Extension Office, 2705 Olivet Church Road in Paducah.

If you have a car and insurance, safe driving skills, and can drive as little as one morning or afternoon a month, you can give someone peace of mind and the chance to get to their potentially life-saving treatments.

To volunteer, call Mary Huff with the Society at 270-444-0740 or mary.huff@cancer.org.
