A truck crash in Carlisle County Wednesday afternoon killed 37 hogs..

Joshua Glover, Carlisle County Director of Public Safety, told West Kentucky Star that the truck, carrying 160 hogs, was traveling on KY 1377, when it left the roadway and overturned.

The crash occurred near the intersection of KY 1377 and Comet Road, east of US 51. Glover said the overturned truck actually came to rest on Comet Road.

The driver refused treatment by EMS at the scene for minor injuries, and there were no other injuries reported.
