Cash, Marijuana Seized During Ballard Traffic Stop

A traffic stop Wednesday night in Ballard County resulted in the arrest of two people on marijuana charges, and a large amount of cash seized.

The Ballard County Sheriff's Department said deputies stopped a vehicle shortly after 8 p.m. on Cairo Road for traffic violations. Deputies reportedly found marijuana and more than $49,000 during a search, which they confiscated. 

Deputies arrested Rebecca Moore of Arkansas and Raymond Freise of Texas on marijuana trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

They were booked into the Ballard County Jail.
