Cave-in-Rock Ferry Closed by Mechanical Issue

The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is closed due to a mechanical issue.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the ferry had to halt service about 2 p.m. Sunday. Repairs will be required on the ferry's gearbox before service can resume. It will likely be sometime Wednesday before repairs can be completed.

The Cave-in-Rock Ferry will provide timely notice when service is able to resume.
