According to past history, chances are good that you have seen the final freeze of the season in Paducah.

Historical records from the National Weather Service show that the average date of Paducah's last freeze is April 7.

Only 20 per cent of Paducah's final freezes has ever occurred as late or later than this weekend (April 15.)

Paducah's latest day for a freezing temperature was May 7, and the earliest date ever for the last 32 degree low in a year was March 7.

This year's latest freeze to this date occurred on March 20.

Next week's forecast of highs in the 70s and 80s indicate that the chances of one more freeze are fading fast.
