According to WKDZ, the child was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after the dog attack.
WKDZ spoke with Hopkinsville Fire Department spokesman Michael Pendleton, who says the child was bitten by the dog on Johnson Mill Road, and suffered severe injuries.
