Christian County Man Burned While Starting Bonfire

A man was taken to a Nashville hospital after being burned as he started a bonfire on Riverbend Road in Christian County, Saturday morning.

WKDZ reports that emergency personnel says the man, whose name has not been released, was attempting to start a bonfire and was burned during the process.

He was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
