Collision Sends Mayfield Man to Hospital

A two-vehicle crash in Mayfield Thursday sent one man to the hospital.

The crash happened near the intersection of North 13th Street and West Broadway. The Mayfield Police Department said 72-year-old Mary Bougher of Mayfield pulled in front of an oncoming car driven by 71-year-old Mickey Stubblefield, told police he could not avoid Bougher's van as she pulled into his path causing the collision.

Stubblefield was transported by ambulance to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Bougher refused medical assistance.
