A woman was taken to the hospital Friday morning after a crash at a Murray intersection.

The Murray Police Department says officers responded at around 10:40 a.m. to a crash at the intersection of 6th and Poplar Street. According to the report, 73-year-old Robert Johnston of Murray was attempting to turn onto Poplar Street from South 6th Street and told officers he didn't see another vehicle approaching as he pulled out into traffic.

The driver of the other vehicle, 67-year-old Thomas Kutcher of Murray, was traveling westbound on Poplar Street and tried to avoid hitting Johnston's vehicle, but couldn't stop in time.

A passenger in Kutcher's vehicle, 58-year-old Jennifer Kutcher, was taken to the hospital for treatment of possible injuries. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
