Dorena-Hickman Ferry Closed by High Water

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry is closed due to high water on the Mississippi River.  

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the ferry is likely to remain closed until around April 6.  

The ferry operator will attempt to provide timely notice when service is able to resume.

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry connects KY 1354 at Hickman, Kentucky, with Missouri Route A and Route 77 near Dorena, Missouri.
