In an effort to ensure the safety of permit applicants and staff, a registration process has been implemented. Individuals will be required to schedule a specific date for their permit test. KSP will begin taking appointments today by phone. KSP asks applicants to exercise patience as they say phone lines are limited, and they are anticipating high call volumes.
Road tests are not being offered at this time. KSP has indicated that they anticipate offering road tests beginnning in July.
The phone number for Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, and McCracken Counties is 270-443-7671. Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, and Trigg Counties are not on the list of open sites at this time.
