Kentucky State Police say a tip received from the public led Troopers to Caldwell County. Troopers say 25-year-old Aaron A. Davis, of Paris, KY, was found in a field off Old Fredonia Road at approximately 9:15 Sunday morning.
Davis was taken into custody and charged with 2nd degree escape.
Troopers received a call from the West Kentucky Correctional Complex at approximately 6:10 am on Sunday, about a missing inmate. Jail staff told police that Davis jumped off a food cart and took off walking.
Davis has a history of burglary, weapons charges, and fleeing and evading police.
