Fake Money Found in Calloway County
By West Kentucky Star Staff
CALLOWAY COUNTY - Authorities in Calloway County are warning the public about some “funny money” circulating in the area.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office says there are some fake $20 bills floating around. Deputies say the fake bills fail the “pen test”, have foreign writing on them and do not have the security strip.

The sheriff's office is warning businesses to be aware when dealing with cash transactions because there may be other denominations floating around the area.

Deputies say if you receive one of the fake bills, report it to your local law enforcement agency.
