Flood Watch Through Friday Morning
By National Weather Service
PADUCAH - The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for all of western Kentucky and southern Illinois until Friday morning.

Heavy rainfall and localized flooding issues appear to be the greatest threat at this time. Many locations could pick up 2 to 3 inches, with locally higher totals possible.

Some potential exists for some severe storms in the early morning hours and again in the afternoon.

Scattered showers are expected to continue into Friday, mainly east of the Mississippi River, along with much cooler temperatures.
