A Christian County Grand Jury Friday indicted a former daycare worker charged in January with the alleged abuse of two infants.

According to WKDZ, Allison Simpson of Hopkinsville was indicted on two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree criminal abuse of a child under 12-years of age.

An arrest warrant filed by Hopkinsville Police says Simpson allegedly subjected an 8-month old and a 10-month old to cruel care and confinement on January 10th of this year in the daycare at First United Methodist Church.

The incident reportedly placed both babies in substantial danger of serious physical injury. Police said the incidents were captured on video.
Simpson was arrested on January 30th after police investigated the incident.
