A former Graves County jailer may himself be spending some time behind bars, after pleading guilty to charges stemming from a 2017 incident involving an inmate.

Court records show former Graves County Jailer Randy Haley pleaded guilty in court on Friday to a menacing charge.

Haley had originally been charged with second-degree assault for his role in an incident at the jail during which he used a taser on an inmate.

Formal sentencing in the case has been set for March.

Haley served as Graves County Jailer from 2003 to 2019.
