Free tree seedlings are available again today in Graves County.

The Graves County Conservation District is giving away bags of tree seedlings while supplies last, or until 2:45pm in the front parking lot of the USDA-Department of Agriculture building on Commonwealth Drive in Mayfield. The building is located off the Hwy. 121 Bypass, next to River Valley Ag Credit and Derksen Building.

Officials say each bag will include a Roughleaf Dogwood, Pecan and Southern Red Oak. Landowners will then have the option to pick either a Bald Cypress or a Black Walnut.

Each landowner is allowed only one tree bag per person, and if they are picking up for someone else, they will have to sign their name to the sign-in sheet.

Officials say they gave away about half of the tree seedlings on Thursday, so they will continue Friday until 2:45 pm or the seedlings are gone.
