A man wanted in two states was arrested Friday in Graves County.

Officers from the Graves County Sheriff's Department went to a home in Water Valley, trying to find a man wanted on outstanding warrants. They spoke to 22-year-old John P. Board of Fulton, who was arrested for bail jumping 1st degree, and for failure to appear in Hickman County court on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

When running Board's name through the NCIC database, deputies found an outstanding warrant from New York. After confirming that the warrant was still active and that authorities wished to extradite him from Kentucky to New York, Board was also served with the probation and parole warrant for a being a fugitive from justice.

Board was taken to Graves County Jail.
