A one-vehicle crash in Mayfield Saturday morning left two people facing charges.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office says the wreck happened around 5:20 am on KY 464, near Hillmount Drive. Deputies say 20-year-old Brandon Arellano, of Mayfield, lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road.

Arellano's vehicle struck four mailboxes, travelled down an embankment and struck a ditch. Arellano was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Two passengers were not injured and refused treatment at the scene.

Arellano was arrested and charged with DUI, two counts of wanton endangerment and four counts of criminal mischief. One of the passengers, 18-year-old Jordon Melgarejo, was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication and possession of marijuana.
