A two vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Graves County left one person injured.

The collision happened at approximately 1:00 pm on KY 303, about five miles south of Mayfield. According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, a car driven by 18-year-old Andrew Koehn, of Water Valley, was northbound on KY 303, following a second vehicle driven by 36-year-old Jesus Hernandez Delgado of Cuba.

Deputies said Delgado was slowing to turn into a driveway when Koehn struck his truck in the rear. Delgado's truck spun 180 degrees and came to rest in the roadway ditch. Koehn's car continued northbound for a short distance, ran off of the left side of the road and collided with an earthen embankment.

Delgado was not injured in the collision. Koehn was transported to a local hospital by a family member for treatment of minor leg injuries.

According to deputies, distracted driving appears to have been a contributing factor in the collision.
