FARMINGTON, KY - Two people were arrested in southern Graves County Thursday for manufacturing methamphetamine. According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, deputies executed a search warrant Thursday afternoon at a mobile home on Burnett’s Chapel Road in the Farmington community and located a meth lab hidden underneath the mobile home.
Deputies found 32-year-old Russell Hargrove, of Farmington, in possession of methamphetamine and a defaced shotgun was found in the home. Hargrove was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
Also arrested was 19-year-old Rachel Elkins of Farmington. She was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Redmon said federal charges may be forthcoming as a result of the sawed-off shotgun that was found in the home.
Both Hargrove and Elkins were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
