The Graves County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to Scott Road just South of KY 97 for a report of a domestic violence complaint that was occurring inside a moving vehicle. Once deputies made contact with the vehicle and were able to stop it, the occupants, Josh and Jounna Hedgepath were separated and interviewed.
While exiting and walking away from the vehicle, a deputy reportedly saw Jounna Hedgepath drop several Xanax bars in the grass. She was placed under arrest at that time. A further search of Jounna and her belongings revealed a marijuana roach and approximately more than 3 grams of methamphetamine.
According to deputies, Josh Hedgepath assaulted Jounna while the two were arguing and traveling on the roadway. He was also arrested, and both were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
Jounna is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. Josh is charged with 4th degree assault and wanton endangerment.
