PADUCAH, KY - Strong, gusty southwest winds will combine with low relative humidities this afternoon to create an elevated wildfire risk, in western Kentucky, southern Illinois and southeast Missouri.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible, mainly along and south of the Ohio River late Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening. A few severe storms will be possible, especially if conditions become more unstable than expected.  The Storm Prediction Center shows a slight risk of severe thunderstorms developing late Thursday into Thursday evening for area south of a lnie from just south of Paducah to near Owensboro.
