Friday's Rescheduled Halloween Festivities
PADUCAH, KY - The threat of severe weather across the area Thursday evening prompted some communities to reschedule their Halloween events for Friday.
In western Kentucky, the city of Fulton has moved the observance of Halloween to Friday.
The city of Barlow has rescheduled their trick-or-treating for Friday from 5-8.
In Benton, the city's mayor has changed the trick or treating to Friday night within the city limits only.
Halloween Safe Night in downtown Cadiz has been moved to Friday from 4-6pm.
In Livingston County, the Judge Executive's office says trick or treating has been moved to Friday night.
The city of Wickliffe has moved trick-or-treating to Friday between 5-8pm.
The city of Clinton and Hickman County have moved their Halloween parade to Friday at 4pm.
In southern Illinois, Golconda mayor Jon Broadway says that the city's trick-or-treating will take place Friday from 5-8pm.
The Metropolis mayor and city council have announced that trick-or-treating will take place Friday from 5-8pm.
Brookport has moved its trick-or-treating to Friday from 5-9pm.
In Vienna, trick-or-treating is being moved to Friday from 6-8pm.
Goreville's trick-or-treating will be held on Friday from 5-8pm.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department has moved their “Operation Safe Halloween” event to Friday. It will be held from 5 to 9 pm in the Kmart parking lot and will still feature booths, candy, and the Angels of Mercy Regional Ambulance Service Haunted House, among other things. You're asked to bring non-perishable food items for donation to Paducah Cooperative Ministry and Family Service Society.
In Lyon County, Kuttawa First Baptist has moved their Fall Fun Zone to Friday night at 5:30.
In Graves County, Liberty Baptist Church in Hickory has moved their Trunk or Treat to Friday from 5-7 pm.
In West Paducah, Milburn Chapel's trunk or treat is now on Friday from 5:30-7pm.
