According to the Mayfield Police Department, the crash happened on South 6th Street, near College Street. Police said a northbound vehicle driven by 26-year-old Christopher Smith, of Mayfield, crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle driven by 67-year-old Terry Hobbs, of Mayfield, head on.
Smith and a passenger in Hobbs' vehicle, 56-year-old Barbara Mills of Mayfield, were transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
