Heat Advisory Again Today, Maybe A Storm
By National Weather Service
PADUCAH - Another heat advisory has been issued today from 11 am until 6pm, as the heat index could still reach 105 to 110 in affected areas of western Kentucky and southern Illinois.

There could still be scattered thunderstorms across the area today as a cold front sags south into the region. While any of the storms will be capable of very heavy rainfall and lightning, a few of the storms may become severe, especially across parts of southeast Missouri and western Kentucky.

Damaging winds would be the main severe threat, although large hail is also a possibility.

Wednesday and the rest of the week looks to be sunny and hot, with highs around a seasonally normal 90.
