Heavy Rain Event Possible Next Week
By National Weather Service
PADUCAH - The National Weather Service in Paducah already has its eye on the potential for 4 to 6 inches of rain next week.

Early forecast models are pointing to a significant rain event, but it's too early to pin down the timing and exact location.

So far, the primary window looks to be from Monday night through Tuesday evening. Widespread rain with embedded thunderstorms are likely to occur before dry weather returns on Wednesday.

Temperatures well into the 60s and gusty winds over 25 miles per hour will also accompany the storms next week.
