Hiring Underway for Wickliffe Paper Mill

Phoenix Paper in Wickliffe has announced that they are accepting applications for hourly positions in their maintenance and production departments, and are hoping to hire some of their former workers to these skilled positions. They are also hiring for non-production positions.

Anyone interested in applying for the maintenance and production jobs should visit the Kentucky Career Center at 416 South 6th Street in Paducah. This should feel familiar to any former workers that apply, since the paper mill has used the Career Center to recruit workers when it was under other ownership.

Phoenix is seeking candidates with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the paper industry and minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience overall. 

The Kentucky Career Center in Paducah is open Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, and Friday from 7:30 am - noon.

Hiring for non-production positions is being promoted online through Indeed.com and on the Phoenix Facebook page (see link below).
