The Graves County Sheriff's Office says a tractor trailer crashed around 5:20 am Wednesday on KY 121, about four miles north of Mayfield. Deputies said John Chapman, of Boone Iowa, ran off the shoulder of the roadway and lost control of his big rig.
The truck and trailer traveled 341 feet, before coming to rest in a wooded area.
Chapman suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Mayfield-Graves County EMS personnel. The road was closed for hours as wrecker crews recovered the vehicle.
