A North Carolina man was arrested on drug trafficking charges Friday morning after a traffic stop on I-24.
According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers stopped a vehicle at around 8:15 a.m. near the 45 mile marker. During the traffic stop, Troopers reportedly found about 11 ounces of marijuana, along with marijuana edibles and paraphernalia.
Police arrested the driver, 63-year-old Scott Williams of Mars Hill, NC. He was charged with trafficking in marijuana over 8 ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Williams was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
