Icy roads are to blame for a rollover crash in Graves County Tuesday morning that left one person injured.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened just before 9:00 am on KY 58 East, between the Dick Castleman By-pass and KY 1710. Deputies say 19-year-old Joseph Minor of Hardin was traveling east on KY 58, when he lost control of his vehicle on the icy roadway.

Minor's vehicle left the road on the right side, struck a concrete abutment and overturned in a ditch. Minor was able to free himself, but his passenger, 23-year-old Eric Hopkins, was unable to unlatch his seat belt. Hopkins located a knife and freed Hopkins.

Hopkins was treated at the scene for injuries received in the crash. Minor was not injured.
